Pressure vessel plates for boiler: Steam Drum
With the boilers becoming bigger and bigger to meet the electricity demands, XG‘s heavy plates department developed model steam drum heavy plate such as 13MnNiMo5-4 and SA299Gr.A, widely used by 200mw, 300mw, 600mw power plant boilers. 13MnNiMo5-4, SA299Gr.A are widely used in steam drums which are critical parts of boilers. Thanks to its better oxidation resistance and high thermal strength, the steam drum heavy plates are also used in chemical vessels, petroleum refinery equipments, hydro cracking equipments, and other high temperature processing equipments.

Impact tests about 145mm 13MnNiMo5-4 during 20 ~ -50 °C done, The experimental results proved that it can keep impact power over 35J even in -50 deree and it has good low temperature impact toughness.
