One of the highlights of XG is the development of the high quality level of the 150mm F36Z35, it is rarely seen in the domestic market that the thickness of offshore platform steel plate's is more than 150mm, which is used for F level marine platform plate. When there is no reference on the thickness effect, how to keep the excellent match between strength and impact toughness by using the most advanced equipments and production procedures, and the key step is to achieve control over the production processes.
We adopt smelting modes of convertor furnace, secondary smelting and refining, VD smelting, advanced ingot casting theory, and the advantages of 5000 mm rolling mill: 100000 ton capacity, heavy rolling reduction rate, treatment process such as accurate controlled cooling after MULPIC rolling, then through normalizing, we have successfully developed the 150mm F36Z35 top quality marine platform heavy plate, with all the property data reach world level standards.

The test performance of Steel plate’s thickness of 1/4 and Steel plate’s thickness of 1/2 have all reached better level, and it's strength is 20MPa higher than that of the standard for marine ship steel plate : 355MPa, and it's -60 °C impact is more than 100J.
