we have carried out the Submerged arc weld ability experiments for 120mm S690QL1 heavy plate, with input heating energy for submerged arc welding of 30KJ/cm , and the experimental results show that each part of the performance meets the standard requirements after Submerging arc welding, and the comprehensive properties of steel plate are good . Welding test execute Chinese standards"Materials and welding specification", GB/T2650-2008 “Joint Impact Test Method", GB/T2651-2008 "Welding Joint Tensile Test Method," GB/T2653-2008 “Welding Bend Test Method", all are equivalent to related international standard. After accepted appearance inspection on the welding processes to the experience heavy plate, it was carried out ultrasonic inspection according to JB/T4730-2005 finally, the result is class A.
