1. Diesel generator design
According to your requirement that the power plant will need 60 units of dg sets,with prime generation capacity of 1820kw, and standby capacity of 2000kw, frequency of 50HZ, voltage: 23kv. The power plant will be fueled by diesel oil and supply power to grid as peak load with all day long operation.
Now by considering the requirements and our actually experience with diesel generator power plant in operation or in design, and compared the strength of each famous brand in the world, we recommended the following design:
60 units of MTU 16V4000G63 engine+Marathon MX-1820-4 alternator, the voltage step up solution: using step up transformer to increase the voltage from 400V to 23KV. The rated total prime capacity is 109.2MW

Germany MTU(Benz) Diesel generator sets have the following advantages:

2. Configuration: Low Voltage DG Sets with Step up Transformers
The 60 units of DG sets with prime capacity of 1800KW, Standby capacity of 1820KW,本次low voltage diesel generator will be combined as one complete DG power plant to supply peak load to grid of 23KV. The 60 units of MTU diesel generator sets will be setup in 4 groups, and the operating units to be stared will be decided by the load demand from grid, after the synchronization monitoring system measures grid data at the inlet end of the step up transformer and synchronize with the DG generator set, switch on the LV switch panel connected to the first unit of the low voltage DG unit, the power will be step up to grid and supply. Each unit of DG set's fixed output can be fixed at 80% (adjustable to demands), and other units can be put into operation one by one. The total units to be started is decided by load demand from grid or by operators.

Due to that User is very familiar with the MTU and Marathon diesel generator, the detailed description in Chinese on the MTU Marathon description is deleted and not translated into English, if needed, we will supplied to it in English.
But here attached some pics.

MTU and Marathon have spare parts supply China and OEM in China, so spare parts supply will be fully and timely met to the demand of the clients.
6. Paralleling system
The Paralleling system to be supplied can be used with both electric control and electronic injection diesel generator sets. it can control multiple units to be automatically into operation as paralleled power plant. The system has combined the traditional automatic paralleling system and DG sets control panel as one system, and installed on the DG set, then it makes the DG set as one fully lined up and automatically controlled sets. the control panel is based the on the core system of DEIF/Danish intelligent controller, main control modular of AGC is the general AMF controller with function of one unit of more units under standby and parallel modes. Our multi modular combination can set up different type of control network to suit different demand. IC-NT controller can provide clear operation and setup on the DG sets by using symbols/pics and code. IC-NT also support Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish language.
Control Theory:the system can adjust the DG sets' voltage, frequency, phase angel to achieve synchronization, automatic switch on by collecting different data of the DG sets, and communicate among DG sets, and calculating to operators' demand in high speed. And then automatically adjust the generation to the on-load and off loan among the DG sets.
Control system configuration: main controller(AGC, with load distributor, communication modular), automatic voltage adjustor, PT of automatic voltage adjustor, ABB breaker and other electric actuator.
Advances: the system has the feathers of full auto, full process, computer controlled automatic start, automatic synchronization and paralleling, automatic load distribution, automatic on-off load, reverse power protection, all kinds of protection to defaults, overload protection, flexible increase/decrease of load to reduce the load impact to the DG sets.
This system will set up 15 units of DG as one group, there 4 group, total 60 units GE sets into operation. \
1. Flexible in operation: one panel to one DG set, so the DG set can be standalone or in parallel operation.
2. Simple to operation: fully automatic operation in multi languages system, imbedded with default check function, simple operation electric chart, lower load of test labor, and saving time and effort needed to operate traditional PLC. So no need for hiring high level operators.
3. Small in Size: each unit has paralleling function.
4.Easy for maintenance: all the modular are produced by one company, and it also integrated large circuit into modular. Lower chance of default.
5. History record: record all the default, operation process, log can be as high as 200 items, convenient for maintenance
6. Economical: units into operation can be decided by system automatically to load demand to avoid high capacity for lower load.
7. longer operation life:adopting shift operation to reduce each set's total operation hours.
8. high availability: even in maintenance or default checking, the plant can operate with 50% load/capacity
9. economic in capital investment: the power plant can be scaled up by adding more units.
10. The DG sets can be paralleled and also synchronized with national grid in operation.

Multi alarming and protection: less/over voltage, less/over frequency, over current, recharge alarm, emergency trip, low lube oil pressure, high water temperature, over speed, starting failure, less/over battery voltage, reverse power protection, low oil level alarm, DG set phase error protection, DG short circuit protection, and all other protections for DG sets.
Expansion: Users can expand functions by adding more modular, thanks to the modularized design of the power plant.
7. HV Switch Panel

1. Brief and function of the HV Switch Panel
The KYN28 Type of switchgear or panel is of indoor usage, metal armoured, with-drawable, 24KV/50HZ, single bus, step by step switch off switch panel, is mainly designed and used for small to medium-sized power plants power evacuation to grid, evacuation and acceptance of power for industries plants, and large HV motors. They are used for control protection, and testing applications. The recommended switch panel meets the requirements of IEC298,GB3906 standards. It is installed with breaker handcart for anti on-load push-pull breaker,Breaker for anti false switch on/off, breaker for anti switch on when the earthing switch is on the status of closing, anti false entrance into on load cabinet, interlock function system for anti switch on of the earthing switch when it is in the status of on load. The main vacuum breaker is used by VD4 from ABB. 具有防止带负荷推拉断路器手车、防止误分合断路器�防止接地开��处在闭合位置时关合断路器、防止误入带电隔室�防止在带电时误合接地开��的联锁功能,主开关使用ABB 的VD4 真空断路器�
2. Feathers and functions
The switchgear or panel is designed to 3-35KV AC metal enclosure Switichgear standards in the Chinese National Electric Standard of GB3906-1991, which is equivalent to IEC standards. The total Switchgear is composed of panel body and drawable handcarts. The panel body has for individual cabinets, the metal outside with protection level of IP4X, protection level for each cabinet and breaker door when open is IP2X. separated inlet and outlet cables/wires channels and other needed functions. The panels can be configured to different demands.
The panel can be installed, commissioned and maintenance in the front side of the panel, and can be placed back to back or back to wall in the room, so increase the safety, flexibility, and reduce the total room space needed for the panels.
