Gas Turbine SGT-800
Power Generation: ISO 47.5 MW(e) / 50.5 MW(e)
The Siemens SGT-800 industrial gas turbine combines a reliable robust design with high efficiency and low emissions. This makes the SGT-800 an excellent choice for Industrial, Refinery and Oil & Gas applications in simple cycle, cogeneration or combined cycle installations. Over 165 units have been sold worldwide and have accumulated 2 million equivalent operating hours (EOH).
The SGT-800 offers broad flexibility in fuels, operation conditions, maintenance concepts, package solutions and ratings to meet current and future market needs. The high exhaust energy content makes it especially suitable for cogeneration and combined-cycle applications. The performance of the SGT-800 in combined cycle is best in class for its size. With up to 60 000 EOH between major overhauls, low maintenance cost and excellent heat rate, the Life Cycle Cost is very competitive.

· Flexible service concept for onsite maintenance - hot section "strip", modules or gas turbine replacement
· E-Service Applications (Operating Statistics, Upgrades & Enhancements)
The SGT-800 is a single-shaft machine with fifteen compressor stages. The first three stages have variable geometry. To minimize leakage over the blade tips, abradable seals are applied to stages four to fifteen.
The three-stage turbine is built as one module for ease of maintenance and is bolted to the compressor shaft. Turbine stator flanges are air-cooled to reduce running clearances and improve efficiency. Its overall design ensures easy service access to the combustor and burners.
All SGT-800 units are equipped with Dry Low Emission combustion system to minimize NOx and CO emissions to ensure that the turbine complies with both global and regional regulations. It can operate on both gas and liquid fuels with on-line switchover between fuels. The SGT-800 DLE system is recognized for its robust design without complicated burner staging or controls. The combustor has a passive damping design for reliable operation. In combination with the single-shaft industrial design, the DLE system gives high stability and capability to handle different load transients.
The cold end of the gas turbine is connected to the generator via speed reduction reducing turbine speed from 6,600 rpm down to 1,500/1,800 rpm.
