HFO quality
Ningbo ZC diesel engines are designed for reliable operation on heavy fuel oil.
For guidance on purchase, reference is made to ISO 8217, BS6843 and to CIMAC recommendations regarding requirements for heavy fuel for diesel engines, edition 2001. From these, the maximum accepted grades are RMH 35 and K35.
For reference purposes, an extract from the relevant standards and specifications is shown in Table 1.
