21m FRP trawler fishing boat

A small/medium size Trawler with cold storage facility

Specifications:

I. Summary
1. This boat is FRP fishing boat and mainly used in trawling fish in offshore area, and it meets the requirements of II navigation area.

2. The boat is constructed according to the <Steel Ocean Fishing Boat Construction Rules>(1998), <Fishing Boat Legal Inspection Rules>(2000) and<Fishing Boat Legal Inspection Rules>(2002) in Register of Fishing Vessel of the People’s Republic of China.


II. General
1. The boat is FRP hull and superstratum, anteverted stem post, aft engine room and propeller advancing.

The boat has 6 watertight bulkheads in #0,#6,#15,#26,#30 and #32. From end to head are steering engine room, crew cabin, engine room, fish hold ice hold, freshwater tank and pore peak tank.

Hull layout:from tail to #0 is steering engine room;#0~#6is crew cabin for 6 persons;#6~#15is engine room, and both sides of it have fuel oil tanks. #15 ~ #26 is fish hold with polyurethane foam insulation all around;the center part of #26-#30 is ice hold, and its two sides have freshwater tanks; #30~#32is fresh water tank and #32 ahead is fore peak tank.

Main deck layout:#2~#15+120 is deck house,on the rear of deckhouse is toilet and fore of it is galley;on the left of#7 is one down engine room door,#12-200~#15 is2 persons crew cabin,#11of deck house is winch;main deck #17+210~#28+290 is fish hold coaming; #30 ahead is fore raised deck;#30~ #33 is storage and its rear wall has steeve. Between tail deck, wheelhouse and fore steeve has detachable block canopy,and the supported S.S.post also can be detached at any time.

Fishing, mooring and anchoring layout: #11 on deckhouse is winch, #30 has one steeve, #21port bulwark has one drift net machine; each of the port and starboard of main deck #2+250, #27 has one bitt and each of the port and starboard of#34+250 has one chock,#33 has one towing bitt,one 95k bow anchor on the bow and one spare 95k anchor, one set of anchor rack,6m anchor chain with φ12.5,anchor cable is 110m steel rope withφ12.5.

7.Fire fighting and life saving

The boat has 5 dry power fire extinguisher and each one is 8kg.They are located in engine room,galley and wheelhouse. One fire bucket, and one fire axe;10 life jackets and they are located in crew cabin, engine room and wheelhouse. 2 life buoys, one self lighting floating lamp, one buoyant life line, one life raft.

8.Door, window and hatch
Each side of deckhouse has one FRP sliding door,one FRP single-door in toilet, and one fireproof door in engine room. Each side of wheelhouse has one sliding door, one aluminum plastic door on the fore raised deck.

One skylight in the engine room and one sliding window on the back wall of galley.Port and starboard of deck crew cabin, each of it has one round porthole. There are aluminum plastic fixed windows on fore wall of wheelhouse and its both sides and back wall has one sliding window.

One moveable hatch cover on the top of rear crew cabin and one water tight hatch cover on the fore raised deck.

The weather deck is FRP anti-skidding floor..

10.Galley equipments
There is one set of cooker.

11.Insulation material
Fish hold insulation material is PUF foam and rock wool insulation for crew cabin and wheelhouse.

I. General
This is a FRP trawl boat, holding force is 7 days, fuel capacity is 3m3, fresh water capacity is 3m3. propulsion system: diesel engine through gear box (with big reduction ratio) to drive fixed pitch ducted propeller, shaft line forms 3 degree angle with base line.

Engine room is at stern part,between frame 6#~14#, total length is 4m.engine room shed is between frame 7#~12#,can enter engine room from dining room.there is steel straight ladder for access from engine room back part to midship.engine room shed has skylight, for lighting, ventilation and emergency exit.exhaust pipes of main engine and auxiliary engine discharge from engine room shed back part.

Engine room and wheelhouse are connected with light telegraph gong or remote control device. Engine room has natural ventilation hole.
This boat has DC power system.

IV. Brief introduction on engine room arrangement The boat engine room is at stern part
Generally, main engine and gear box are between frame 7#~12#, through sterh shaft to drive 4-blade fixed pitch ducted propeller, stern shaft bearing is water lubrication.the boat has shaft bilge pump and DC shaft generator.

Navigation power equipment: main engine is from Weifang Diesel Engine Plant, model: TD226B-4C1,it can meet the design requirements of speed and towing tension. main engine is installed between frame 8#~12#.

Output device at main engine front-end: main engine front-end output through V-belt pulley to drive sea water cooling pump; bilge pump and engine front-end are connected with winch in front of engine through elastic coupling, to drive winch to work.

Output device at main engine back-end: main engine flywheel end is directly connected with 135 type gear box, gear box output coupling is rigid connected with  intermediate shaft coupling, intermediate shaft is rigid connected with stern shaft system through coupling.gear box operates clutch through hydraulic system,
to control propeller forward, stop and reverse.

Main engine cooling water equipment:closed cycle cooling, fresh water cooling pump attached to main engine drives fresh water cycle cooling, fresh water inside main engine cycling is cooled by sea water through heat exchanger.

Main engine lub. oil equipment: main engine itself has engine oil pump, engine oil filter and so on as a completer system, which can finish engine oil cycling. engine oil cycling tank for lubrication oil is installed in engine room, it can be added into main engine by oil bucket while needed.

Main engine fuel equipment: main engine fuel system includes fuel supply pump and filter attached to itself, and daily fuel tank and manual pump installed in engine room, fuel is pumped into daily fuel tank through manual pump, than fuel is flowed into main engine from daily fuel tank.

V. Power pipeline introduction:

Fuel pipeline: main engine uses light diesel oil, fuel tanks are installed on portside and starboard, after pipeline is connected, fuel is pumped to daily fuel tank by manual pump, then flowing to main engine through fuel filter and fuel pump. daily fuel tank has sectioning valve, can be used for draining oil and other use.

Cooling water pipeline: main engine cooling pipe uses closed cycle type.system inside cooling is done by sea water, through heat exchanger. Sea water is sucked into pipeline by sea water pump from hull valve, going into cooler first, then entering gear box engine oil cooler after being cooled, then going to heat exchanger above main engine after being cooled, and then being discharged outboard by pipeline after cooling fresh water. what’s more, there is also sea water emergency inlet branch in pipeline, for emergency use.

Fire & drain system: the system has one general pump for both fire and draining.

Bilge water system: every fish hold has one sewage-sucking in tap, engine room has two sewage-sucking in taps, through transforming of stop check valve, both bilge pump and manual pump can be used for pumping sewage water everywhere, it also has sea water guiding system.

There is one removeable pump as for spare pump of fire and bilge pump.
