ZGSJ is a large scaled engineering corporation with its main business focused on consulting, engineering design, construction supervision, project management and project contracting. ZGSJ holds the license of imported and export, Grade A certificate for the engineering design in the entire sectors of light industry and textile industry, civil construction sector, municipal infrastructure sector (sewage and environmental sanitation), agriculture [forestry chemistry (pulp and paper)] and intelligent system of building, Grade B certificate for city planning, tendering agent, engineering design in chemical industry, petrol chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry (inorganic chemical, organic chemical, synthetic materials and further processing, biology and ecology), building materials industry (new types of building materials), commercial commodity and cereal sectors (oil and fats projects, maize processing, feedstock processing), electric power industry and municipal infrastructure sector (water supply, thermal power and fuel gas). It also holds Grade A certificates for project consulting, budget estimation and construction supervision and license for the design of pressure vessels and the certificate for the design of GB and GC pressure pipelines.
ZGSJ is one of the top hundred survey and engineering design corporations in China. It is a large scale science and technological enterprise with multi functions taking consulting and engineering as its main business with the functions of project planning, investment consulting, preparation of project proposal and feasibility study, project evaluation, engineering design, construction supervision, project general contracting, cost estimation, project management consulting, worldwide cooperation etc. facing the project construction markets both at home and abroad.
ZGSJ is improving its management system continuously. With the management policies of “setting up a scientific and effective management system, insisting on the business concept of meeting the requirements of customers, undertaking the social responsibilities of safety and environmental protection, establishing a people-oriented enterprise culture, creating its brands of technically leading in the industries and insisting on the development direction of continuous creation", ZGSJ has set up a platform integrated with management, technologies and resources and makes efforts to reach the quality targets of “advanced technologies, reliable quality, satisfactory service and effective management", the environmental management targets of “energy saving, control in advance and strict management, environmental friendly and continuous development" and the professional healthy and safety management targets of “strict control of events, risk sources control, abiding by regulations, healthy and safety" to build up ZGSJ’s core competitively.
I. Business Fields
ZGSJ is mainly engaged in providing consulting service, engineering design, construction supervision, cost estimate, project management and project contracting for the construction projects of pulp and paper, oil and fats, household chemicals, petrol chemicals, medicine, household silicates (including glass light tube), plastic processing, bicycles, leather, food, winery, fermentation, diary products, malt, agriculture by-products further processing and comprehensive utilization, beverages, salt and salt chemicals, energy, environmental protection, utilities, thermal power plant, general planning, public building, civil building, interior and exterior finishing, garden land marks, intelligent system of building, etc.
II. Achievements
ZGSJ takes the leading position in the country in the aspect of the technology of
engineering design for its main business sectors in the light industry, such as pulp and paper, synthetic detergent and its raw materials, oil and fat chemicals, household glassware, beer, vinification, food, beverages, salt and salt chemicals, engineering plastics, etc. Now ZGSJ possesses 7 special know-how, 1 patented practicable new technology and enjoys good reputation both at home and abroad.
ZGSJ has made outstanding achievements in general planning and engineering design of public buildings (such as hotels, office building, gymnasium, education buildings, department stores, hospitals) and residential areas.
ZGSJ has provided engineering, project consulting, project general contracting and other kinds of services for more than 5,000 large-scale and medium scale enterprises at home and more than 40 large-scale and medium scale projects abroad in more than 20 countries.
ZGSJ has established substantive cooperation and business relationships with more than 200 large-scale companies worldwide.
More than 200 projects designed by ZGSJ have been commended for the excellent design by the state, ministry and provincial governments. Among the 200 projects and more, more than 40 projects were awarded the gold, silver and bronze medals by the state government for the excellent design.
III. Human Resources
ZGSJ is a galaxy of talent and has a total staff force of 655 persons on the payroll, among whom 11 persons enjoy the special subsidy specified by the state, which accounts for 2.06% of the staff number on the pay-roll, 114 persons are senior engineers of Professor level, which accounts for 18.01% of the staff number on the pay-roll, 153 persons are senior technical personnel, which accounts for 33.39% of the staff number on the pay-roll, 198 persons are engineers, which accounts for 17.63% of the staff number on the pay-roll, 220 persons are registered architects and registered engineers, which accounts for 38.65% of the staff number on the pay-roll, and 55 project managers for project general contracting.
IV. Certification and Member of Associations
In 1997, ZGSJ passed through the qualification of ISO9001 quality management system
(registered No. of certificate: 2497A45). In June 2003, it passed through the qualification of the quality management system of 2000 version (registered No. of certificate:
02703Q10103R2M). On January 1 2008, the official document for the implementation of the management system of quality control, environmental control and professional health and safety control was issued.
ZGSJ is one of the major members of more than 100 international and domestic associations such as Federation Internationale Des Ingenieurs-Conseils (FIDIC), China Prospecting and Engineering Association, China International Engineering and Consulting Association, etc. In January 1995, it was registered in the DACON database of the World Bank. ZGSJ is one of the designing organizations who were firstly empowered to deal in foreign business operation in June 1992.
After ZGSJ experienced the progressing course of pioneering, development, expansion and reform in more than 50 years, it has become a large-scale consulting and engineering
enterprise well known both at home and abroad.
