Chlorinated Paraffin-70

    Product feature and applications:
    Chlorinated Paraffin-70 (Chemical formula: C25H3nCl22 or C25H3nCl22, average molecular-weight 1060-1100); Chlorinated Paraffin is a kind of refined organic chemical with high consumption of chlorine, it looks like white or yellowish powder, its melting range 85-120 C, specific gravity 1.6-1.7, refraction index 1.54-1.58 (95-120ºC). With high chemical stability at ambient temperature, it can not react with water, oxidizer and weak alkali solution, it has no odor and poison, dissolved in many organic solvents but low-grade alcohol. Being an additive fire-retardant, it has a persistent prevention from the combustion, also it is featured as dampproof, anlistatig, anti-softener, anti-pull & anti-compression, low volatility and excellent insulation for electricity. It¡¯s used mainly as the fire-retardant for plastic, rubber & its product, painting and textile, also functioned as the additive for oil, the modifier for paper industry and printing-ink etc.
