Jianghan Petroleum Machinery Plant (JPMP) of Jianghan Opetroleum Administration Bureau is a specialist manufacturing equipment for petroleum and petrochemical industries. JPMP has been ISO 9001 certified, and was granted to use API Monogram of 4F, 8C and 11E. JPMP has manufactured pumping units of about 30 types for over 20 years, which are suitable for oil wells with various conditions, depths in extreme weather and operating conditions. On the basis of conventional pumping units, JPMP has developed pumping units with phased crank, dual horsehead, torque changeable, slant, bent walking beam and linear motor, which feature lower energy consumption, less material, higher efficiency, longer stroke, greater torque and heavy duty. Over 10,000 pumping units made by JPMP are being used in 18 oilfields in china and exported to the USA, Canada, Indonesia, Thailand and Mexico. The pumping unit with linear motor developed by JPMP and Daca Co. of Huabei Oilfield and manufactured by JPMP is one of the national pivot projects during the eighth five-year plan.

Conventional Pumping Units

Features: 1. Conforming to API Spec. 11E. 2. Rational construction, smooth running, low noise and easy operation. 3. Walking beam made of box or welded H steel beam with high strength, gook rigidity and heavy capacity. 4. Gear reducer using helical involute or double circular-arc gears with heavy duty and long service life. 5. Central bearing and equalizer bearing feature heavy duty and reliable seal by adopting medium and wide series roller bearings. Self-aligning bearing is used on equalizer and crank pin to reduce mounting error and operating vibration. 6. Horsehead with swinging device move side, hanging, auto-positioning or upwards, is flexible and convenient for well workover. 7. Tower samson post with good steadiness and easy installation. Large post can be contracted for packing and transportation. 8. Rack and pinion set is adopted on the crank assembly for easy and accurate adjustment of counterweight. 9. Internal expansion or external contracting brake with safety device is easy, quick and effective for operating. 10. Tie down, clamping plates or anchor bolts for fixing the base are available upon requests. 11. Irrotational wireline is available to eliminate wireline from tangling. 12. General V belt or joint narrow V belt is available. 13. Prime mover can be selected with general motor, frequency adjustable motor, power-saving motor, and diesel or natural gas engine.

Dual Horsehead Pumping Units

|
Features: 1. The pumping unit with dual horsehead is a new type unit developed on the basis of conventional unit, which has features of low stroke, low power consumption and high efficiency as well as feature of conventional units. 2. A rear horsehead of which curvature radius is variable is designed at the rear end of walking beam. Flexible connection is designed between the rear horsehead and equalizer so that the pumping unit is a variable four-bar linkage to change torque curve of load on the polished rod for better congruence with the balanced torque curve. This will reduce the net torque peak value of gear reducer, eliminate minus torque and lower motor power. 3. Flexible linkage eliminates "dead angle constraint" occurring on the conventional unit and faxed four-bar linkage. The pivot angle of walking beam increases by a factor of 30%~50%. 4. There are two working styles: the rotor angle of crank in upstroke is bigger than that in downstroke when the cranks rotate clockwise; and the rotor angle of crank in downstroke is bigger than that in upstroke when the cranks rotate counterclockwise so that the upward speed is faster than the downward speed.

Pumping Units with Phased Crank

|
Features: Pumping unit with phased crank has better balance effect to smooth torque of the gear reducer, improve working conditions, increase working capacity and prolong service life. Optimized four-bar linkage with crank decreases peak torque of gear reducer. Rotation angle of 192 degrees at upstroke is bigger than that of 168 degrees at downstroke so as to lower factor of dynamic load to improve load capacity of the unit. Power of prime mover is one size lower than the power of conventional pumping unit. When adjustable biasing angle is designed, the effective area of energy-saving is applicable for differential well conditions so as to save energy by 20~30%.

Linear Motor Activated Pumping Units

Linear motor activated pumping units are developed by Huabei Daca Co. and Jianghan Petroleum Machinery Plant, and manufactured by Jianghan Petroleum Machinery Plant on the basis of walking beam and non-walking beam pumping units. The linear motor directly converts electrical energy into straight reciprocating motion so as to simply drive, reduce energy loss and improve balance effect by scale balance. Independent intellectual property and 7 patents are owned.
