4.1.4 Exterior Design Conditions
a) Power plant planning capacity is 3x200MW?/SPAN>the project will construct 1 x200MW coal fired units in this phase. the capacity of coal handling system is designed as the unit capacity of 1×200MW.
b) The Owner will transport the coal to the power plant by self-unloading trucks.
c) The coal size is supposed 0-200 mm.
4.1.5 Scope of Design
The design scope includes all devices and equipments from the coal storage yard to the boiler bunkers. Including crushing device, belt conveying system, weighing scale, coal sampling, control system and all the other necessary auxiliary devices inside the plant.
4.2 Description
The operating flow will be as follows:
Four sets of underground reclaim hoppers are set at the coal storage yard, two bulldozers (T220 type) and two wheel loaders (ZL50 type) will be provided to handle coal from the coal yard to the reclaim hopper and help to channel work in coal yard. Each hopper is equipped with a GK type vibrating feeder to send the coal to C-1A/B belt conveyor and pass through to C-2A/B belt conveyor and be injected into the crusher, which could crush coal into smaller pieces. The crushed coal will be conveyed through C-3A/B, ultimately be unloaded into the coal bunker by the plough trippers, which are installed on C-4A/B Belt Conveyors .
The capability of Coal Handling System could meet at least the design coal consumption of 150% at BMCR for 1x200MW unit.
The capacity of the conveyor is 200/h and the belt is 650mm wide, velocity is 2.0m/s.
The flow diagram of coal handing system refers to: AF2009018-M-01
4.3 Coal Storage Yard
Four underground coal hoppers are set to receive coal from the coal yard. The hopper is reversed pyramidal shape. Its size will be 4mx4mx3m. Under the outlets of hopper, four GK type vibrating feeders will be installed.
One coal rectangle yard will be set in the plant, total capacity of 15.5x104 tons, which enough to feed the 1x200MW at BMCR for 60 days . A lookum with span of 50m and length of 70m will be built covering underground hoppers in the coal yard, which capacity is equal to the coal consumption of the boilers at BMCR for 5 days.
4.4 Crushing Facility
Crushing facility is located in the belt conveying system. one stage crusher are used for the plant. namely, one crusher will be provided for each route of belt conveyor. Two crushing plant will be provided for coal processing, one operating, one standby, and the possibility for operating simultaneous will be considered.
The oversized coal will go to the crusher to be crushed into the required size of coal boilers. The capacity of coal crusher is 200t/h.
4.5 Belt Conveying System
A dual line belt conveyor system will be set for coal reclaim system. Two parallel belt conveyors will be standby each other. The capacity of each belt conveyor (belt width: 650mm; belt speed: 2.0m/s) is 200t/h, Which meet at least the design coal consumption of 150% at BMCR for 1x200MW unit consumption rate.
Plough strippers will be used on the boiler bunkers to unloading coal from the belt conveyor to the boiler bunkers.
4.6 Block separator
Block separator will be install in the NO.1 transfer tower.
Block separator will be provided to protect the coal handling plant from damage by any extraneous material delivered in the coal ,including wood logs, bricks, large metal items and other contaminants.
4.7 Miscellaneous System Description
- Magnetic Separators
Three sets of belt magnetic separators will be set in the belt conveying system, which are of self-cleaning suspended type, arranged on the belt conveyor of C1A/B and C2A/B(head part). Tray magnetic separators will be arranged on middle part of the belt conveyor of C3A/B.
- Coal Sampling System and Belt Scales
Two sets of Fired Sampling facility and Belt Scales will be installed in the middle of 3A/B belt conveyors.
Sampling system will be provided to monitor the coal characteristic and it will be equipped with coal returning device.
Belt scales will be of the electronic type and furnished with a test weight if required for accurate calibration.
4.8 Control of Coal Handling System
PLC Based Control System and Industrial TV Monitoring System are adopted for the control of operation of whole coal handling system. |
