13.3 Ventilation for Turbine Hall
Turbine hall will be provided with a natural suction and mechanical exhaust system. Outdoor air will naturally enter into the hall through windows and motor driven weatherproof aluminum alloy shutters in external wall at bottom floor, indoor hot and moist air will be exhausted to the outside by roof axial fans.
13.4 Air Conditioning for Central Control Room and Electronic Rooms
Central Control Room and Electronic Equipment Room will be served with central air conditioning system so as to maintain indoor temperature at 25±2°C and relative humidity at 50±10%.
2×100% capacity Air-cooled water chillers will be provided, the chilled water will be pumped to AHU and Fan coil units in main block.
Central air conditioning systems consist of AHU, duct, dampers, registers and control system etc. Constant temperature and humidity air handling units consists of return air fan section, fresh/exhaust air section, filter section, cooling coil section, humidifier section, electric heating section, and supply air fan section.
Indoor air in control room and electronics room will be ducted to the air handling unit by return fan, to be cooled or heated, humidified or dehumidified and filtered and will be supplied back to control room and electronics rooms by supply fan to maintain the required temperature and relative humidity.
The exhaust air volume will be less than that of supply air to pressurize each room to 5Pa above the atmosphere to prevent the infiltration of dust.
Independent mechanical smoke-exhausting systems will be provided for central control room and electronic rooms. The smoke-exhausting fan will be of high temperature-resistant type.
The smoke-exhausting fans will be put into operation manually to exhaust the smoke to the outside only after the fire has been extinguished in the central control room or in the electronic rooms. if the temperature of the smoke gets to 280°C during smoke exhausting, the fire damper mounted in the inlet of the fan will be closed automatically and the running fan will be shut off immediately by the signal sent by the damper.
Air conditioning System will be provided for 400V distribution rooms, 6kV switchgear rooms, DC & UPS distribution room, excitation rooms in Steam turbine building to maintain the indoor temperature under than 35°C.
Natural suction and mechanical exhaust will be designed for MCC rooms in other buildings
Mechanical supply and natural exhaust system or natural suction and mechanical exhaust system will be designed for transformer rooms.
The air change rate will not be less then 12 times per hour. The emergency exhaust fans will also be used in summer ventilation system.
In case of fire, the power supply of the fans and air conditioners will be cut off automatically.
A natural suction and mechanical exhaust system will be provided to exhaust the poisonous gas in room.
Air change rate will not be less then 15 times per hour.
Anti-corrosive & explosion proofing axial fan will be adopted. The duct and fittings will also be anti-corrosive.
Air conditioning will be provided to maintain the required indoor temperature.
13.8 Air Conditioning for laboratory
Air conditioning will be provided to maintain the required indoor temperature.
A natural suction and mechanical exhaust system will be provided for battery room, in which anti-corrosive and explosion-proof axial fan will be adopted for air exhausting. Air changes will not be less then 6 times per hour.
When the fire occurs, the running fan will be powered off automatically to avoid fire spreading.
Anti-corrosion and explosion-proof wall-mounted fan coil unit will be provided to maintain the indoor temperature under then 30°C in battery room
Mechanical ventilation system will be designed for the underground part of pump house. Air changes will not be less then 15 times per hour by underground volume.
Compressor room will be served with a natural suction and mechanical exhaust system, in which the air-changing rate will not be less then 10 times per hour.
13.12 Air Conditioning for Office Building
The fan coils units and fresh air handling units will be provided for office building to maintain the required indoor temperature, 2×50% capacity Air-cooled water chillers will be provided, the chilled water will be pumped to Fan coil units and fresh air handling units in office building.
Each bunker will be provided with a bag separator respectively.
The air with dust will be sucked from the top of each bunker such that a negative pressure will be generated inside the bunker to prevent the flying of coal dust and accumulation of methane. Air with dust will be filtered by the separator and then exhausted to outside by exhaust fan. The separator will be interlocked with the corresponding plough.
One bag separator will be provided at the transfer point of the each belt conveyor. The air with dust will be sucked from the coal chute to produce a negative pressure inside the chute to prevent coal dust from flying to adjacent area.
Air with dust will be filtered by the separator and then exhausted to outside by exhaust fan. The separator will be interlocked with the conveyor.
The scope of the dust cleaning system in this phase of the project will cover boiler house, coal bunker bay.
The main equipment of the vacuum cleaning system is a vacuum dust extraction truck. A stationary piping network will be installed and extended to each platform and roof of the boiler. Independently stationary piping networks will be arranged in coal bunker bay. All sorts of flexible hoses and suction nozzles will also be provided along with the truck. After the vacuum pump in the truck has been started, then the operator can connect the hose with the fast adapter in the piping and hold the suction nozzles to clean the dust on the equipment, pipes and floors. |
