Gas Composition Requirements for 190 Series Gas Engine

1, Natural gas Fuel Gas Engines

The super-charged gas engine inlet pressure: 100kPa ~ 300kPa; non-turbo charged natural

Gas engine intake pressure: 30kPa ~ 300kPa.

gas temperature in the gas inlet pressure regulator which is 1m from the unit should not be higher than 40 Celsius degree;

Methane in the natural gas volume content not less than 70%, the LHV 32MJ/Nm3 ~ 45MJ/Nm3, H2S no higher than20mg/Nm3, the total sulfur content of no higher than 480mg/Nm3, impurities particle size no higher than 5μm, impurities no higher than30mg/Nm3. free of water, light oil.

For wells associated gas, light oil separation and dewatering should be executed and get rid of light oil and the methane Volume content should not be less than 70%, but low calorific value of 32MJ / Nm3 and higher.

For each specific gas from well associated gas, it should be provided the analysis report with gas specific Ingredients, the special configuration and then evaluate if they can be used in the engine.

2, Biogas Engine

Biogas from all kind of biogas, such as landfill, biogas ferment pool, gas temperature in the gas inlet pressure regulator which is located 1 meter from the engine unit, should not be higher than 40 Celsius Degree; pressure: 3kPa ~ 10kPa,  pressure change rateno higher than 1kPa/min; biogas methane volume content should not be less than 45%, the methane volume content change rateno higher than2% / min; H2S no higher than 200mg/Nm3, NH3 no higher than 20mg/Nm3, miscellaneous impurity particles size no higher than 5μm, impurities no higher than 30mg/Nm3 and; biogas moisture content no higher than 40g/Nm3.

For biogas whose Methane volume content between 30% and 45%, the low biogas concentration type of gas engines should be used.

And if gas quality does not meet the above requirements, please provide specific gas composition, pressure, temperature for choosing the right low heat value engine models.

3, Coal Mine Gas Engines

Coal mine gas temperature in the gas inlet pressure regulator which is located 1 meter from the engine unit, should not be higher than 40 Celsius Degree; pressure: 3kPa ~ 10kPa, pressure change rateno higher than 1kPa/min; Coal Mine Gas methane volume content should not be less than 9%, the rate of change of no higher than 2% / min; The calorific value should not be less than 3MJ/Nm3 after mixed to theoretical formula ; impurities particle size no higher than 5μm, impurities no higher than 30mg/Nm3.

4, Coke Oven Gas Engine

gas temperature in the gas inlet pressure regulator which is located 1 meter from the engine unit, should not be higher than 40 Celsius Degree; pressure: 3kPa ~ 10kPa, pressure change rateno higher than 1kPa/min; H2 Volume content in coke oven gas should not be more than 60%; H2S no higher than 200mg/Nm3, NH3 no higher than 20mg/Nm3, the tar content of no higher than 50mg/Nm3; impurities particle size no higher than 5μm, impurities no higher than 30mg/Nm3; water Content in coke oven gas is less than 40g/Nm3.

5, Gas Producer Gas Engine

Gas temperature in the gas inlet pressure regulator which is located 1 meter from the engine unit, should not be higher than 40 Celsius Degree; pressure: 3kPa ~ 10kPa, pressure change rate no higher than 1kPa/min; H2 Volume content in producer gas should not be more than 20%; H2S no higher than 50mg/Nm3, NH3 no higher than 20mg/Nm3, the tar content of no higher than 50mg/Nm3; impurities particle size no higher than 5μm, impurities no higher than 30mg/Nm3; water content in the furnace gas not higher than 40g/Nm3; gas heating value  no less than  4MJ/Nm3.

6, Straw Gasification Gas Engine

For straw gasification or other biomass gasification generated gas,  gas temperature does not exceed 40 Celsius Degree before 1m from the unit gas inlet pressure regulator; Pressure 3kPa ~ 10kPa pressure rate of change no higher than 1kPa/min; H2 volume content in the straw gas Not more than 20%; of H2S no higher than 50mg/Nm3, NH3 no higher than 20mg/Nm3 tar content of no higher than 50mg/Nm3; Impurities particle size no higher than 5μm impurities no higher than 30mg/Nm3; the straw gas moisture content no higher than 40g/Nm3; gas calorific value of  no less than  4MJ / Nm3.

7,Oil Shale gas engine

Before 1m from the unit gas inlet pressure regulator, oil shale temperature does not exceed 40 Celsius Degree; pressure 3kPa ~ 10kPa, the pressure rate of change no higher than 1kPa/min; of H2S no higher than 50mg/Nm3, NH3 no higher than 20mg/Nm3, the tar content of no higher than 50mg/Nm3; impurities particle size no higher than 5 μm, impurities no higher than 30mg/Nm3; oil shale gas moisture content no higher than 40g/Nm3; gas heating value no less than  3.5MJ / Nm3.
