Technical information shall be as per UID standards, and considered for guidance only.
Diesel engine output at the ISO conditions:
• Maximum continuous rating at 750 rpm.
• 5500 kW on terminals of alternator. @ ISO Conditions
• Cos phi = 0.8.
• Alternator voltage 11 KV AC. Hz: 50.
The plant is designed for the following site condition:
• 1013 mBar barometric pressure.
• 50 °C ambient temperature dry. Derating has to be considered
• 55 °C cooling water temperature inlet to engine.
• 100 m high above sea level.
• 65 % relative humidity.
Earthquake code according to: Richter scale: 4.7.
Original engine design: This engine type is as original designed and manufactured to
operate on heavy fuel oil at max 700 cSt at 50°C.
Actual fuel oil quality for this project: HFO as per international standards
Engine combustion air filter: Dust type in the air: Medium dust
Local regulations: None.

1 MAN B&W diesel engine ( licensed ). V-exsecution , four-stroke, water-cooled with
oil-cooled two-piece pistons (nodular cast iron skirt and steel crown) exchangeable
cylinder liners, turbo-charged, charge air cooling.

The engine is delivered with a welded common steel base frame
for engine and alternator.
Calculation of torsional vibrations
B 10 12 3 External flanges with counter flanges incl. gaskets and bolts

11 00 0 Fuel oil system, built on engine
Injection pumps
Our engine is designed with one injection pump for each
cylinder.
Preheated leakage alarm box
The oil has to be drained to the fuel waste oil tank.
B 11 01 1 Heavy fuel oil operation (HFO)
Our standard engine is designed to operate, being stand-by and
start and stop on HFO, max. 700 cSt at 50°C (7000 sec. Redwood
1/100°F) according to ISO 8217, British Standard 6843 and
CIMAC grades RMH 55 and K55.
Built-on nozzle conditioning oil system
For HFO operation, only. The fuel nozzles are cooled by DO in a
semi-closed system. The cooling oil is circulated by a built-on
electrical pump with strainer.

Preservation
The equipment delivered by UID is preserved for a period of six
months after delivery from our works. The equipment shall be
protected properly during the said period.
Note: Auxiliary equipment, if any, is delivered in standard
containers, if possible.
