Product introduction

Aluminum Clad Steel wire is a high-strength steel core evenly, successively coated with a layer of aluminum. It has characteristics of high-strength, anti-corrosion, high-conductivity etc. It is widely use as strength-reinforced core of OPGW overhead power conductor, metallic net, bracket, wire, rail with anti-corrosive characteristics. Our ACS products can meet the request of Standard of IEC, ASTM etc.

1.       MATERIAL

1.1 The base metal should the steel produced by the open-hearth, the electric-furnace or the basic-oxygen process and shall be of such composition that the finished clad wire shall have the properties and characteristics given in this standard.

1.2 The aluminum used for covering shall have a minimum purity of 99.7%, and quality sufficiently to meet thickness and resistance requirements of this standard.
