The power plant is still in good condition:

Steam turbine and control system was installed in 2003 by professional teams with very good workmanship to achieve the highest performance for future operation.
#1 steam turbine generator unit and #2 steam turbine generator unit was put into operation in June, and December 2003, and after that time, many times of overhaul were done periodically to requirements from the manufacturers or National O&M regulations for power plants. And also some improvements and adjusts are done to these tow units to reach the designed performance. Now they are still in good condition with complete system in place and higher stability and reliability. When compared with other coal fired plants in the same category they are of one of the best plants with high data in performance. In 2006, the 2x137.5mw coal fired plant’s coal consumption is about 353.48gram/kwh, and 359.39gram/kwh, which is the best coal consumption in a competition organized by China Thermal Power Association. The first took the first place, the second took the third place in the competition. 

During the four years of operation, the two units have been keeping in reliable operation. Until June st, 2007, it have been in continuous operation without any safety events happened for 1400 days.

The power plant is located in the load center of the grid, so the location provides it with good operation condition, it never happened with events which would shorten it life span of the plant, and the starting times were relatively less. When compared with newly installed equipments, all these equipments have been in optimization condition thanks to good O&M. If they are taken care during dismantling, packing, transportation, installation and commission, O&M with professional expertise in the new plant site, they will achieve reliable long term operation for power generation.

Remarks:

1. the boiler was manufacturer by Harbin Boiler, type: HG-420/13.7-YM1 single drum super high pressure middle-reheating natural circulating type boiler, outdoor installation. So boiler body can not be dismantled for reinstallation, it is suggested to replace by new boiler.

2. all the listed auxiliaries for boiler will to be replace if the new boiler is notthe same type of boiler of HG-420/13.7-YM1

Remarks:

1. the steam turbine is of N137.5�?3.24�?35�?35, impulse, double cylinder, double exhaust and condensate type steam turbine made by Number one steam turbine producer in China, Harbin Steam Turbine. Rated power is of 137.5mw. The main body of the steam turbine (except the low pressure external cylinder), was completely replaced with new parts or equipments during the modification done in 2003 and now its guaranteed heat value is  8164 KJ/ KWh (1950Kcal/ KWh under standard condition.

2. The Speed governor safety system is adopted with the most advanced DEH system in China, which can achieve quick automatic start and stop operation to the system, and can operate coordinately with the distributed control system and then automatically controls the system. The power plant can be used as basic generation plant or frequency modulation plant.

Remarks:

1. the generator is of QFS-137.5-2, made the largest generator producer in China. it is a double-water internal cooling generator, with efficiency at 98.69%. the generator was put into operation in 1998, still in very good condition, even in summer with 135mw load, all the point temperature tested were still lower than operation manual required.

DCS System

Remarks:

The DCS is adopted wit Network 6000 technology, this technology was the updated the version in 2003 when doing upgrading on the DCS. The DCS is of the most advanced technology in the 137.5mw category. Now it can completely reaches the demands for the control of the power plant.

Remarks:

1. the main transformer and substation is in good operation condition

2. All the Chinese high voltage equipments were made to IEC standard.

3. the high voltage of the main transformer and substation is of 220kv, if the new plant high voltage is not 220kv, then these equipments should be modified or replaced.

P.S. somebody has already inspected the plant and held preliminary negotiation with the us, and they claimed to buy them, but until now no oder is placed, so it is still open for sale.
