The VT9285H is a HART smart vibration velocity transmitter. Based on the piezoelectric measurement
principle, the transmitter uses the digital integrated circuit and microprocessor technique for sensing the
rotating machinery vibration velocity. It combines the vibration velocity sensor and signal conditioner in
single stainless steel housing and offers you the most ideal solution for sensing rotating machinery
vibration velocity. The transmitter can output a 4�?0mA signal proportional to vibration velocity and
transmit the signal to PLC/DCS, monitor, or other indicating instrument either directly or by the HART
protocol. It is widely applied in rotating machinery such as fan, blower, centrifuge, compressor, pump
and motor, etc.
VT9285H is a self‐contained vibration velocity transmitter without any moving part. The full scale range
is marked on the label and can be modified by a HART communicator. The VT9285H transmitter has
notable anti‐electromagnetic interference features, so it can be mounted directly on the rotating
machinery case or the bearing housing.

Overview
The VT9285 is a digital vibration velocity transmitter that
combines digital circuit technique and piezoelectric principle
perfectly. It adopts 24 bit ADC and DAC conversion circuit
greatly improving the measurement accuracy and response
time. Via software, acceleration signals is integral in frequency
domain, which increasing the linearity, linearizing the output
curve and enhancing the anti‐interference capability of the
transmitter. The VT9285 vibration velocity transmitter is
designed to measure vibration velocity of revolving machine. It
combines vibration sensor and signal processing circuit into a
stainless steel casing, which provides an ideal solution to
measure the level of the mechanical vibration. And it outputs a
4�?0mA signal proportional to the vibration velocity and
transmits the signal directly to the programmable controller
(PLC), distributed control system (DCS), monitor or other
monitoring instrument with 4�?0mA input signal.
VT9285B is powered by two‐wire loop power supply
VT9285C is powered by independent three‐wire power supply
VT9285 is a self‐contained vibration transmitter, without
moving parts and can be mounted directly on the case of
rotating machine or on the bear housing. A variety of Full scale
ranges, process mounting stud styles and several of electrical
interfaces is available and can be selected respectively.
