ABB Xiamen Switchgear Co., Ltd. which founded in 1992 is the first ABB joint venture company in China. The company specializes in the production, sales and service of 3.6kV- 40.5kV switchgears and circuit breakers. Over 25 years development, ABB Xiamen Switchgear has developed into a leading manufacturers of medium voltage switchgears and circuit breakers in the world, installed the advanced automatic production lines for switchgears and circuit breakers, with the annual production capacity over 25,000 units of switchgear panel and 70,000 units of circuit breaker. The company has consistently ranked among "China’s Top 100 Electric Companies".

  In 1994, ABB Xiamen Switchgear Co., Ltd. was awarded ISO9001 Quality Management Certification, and in 1996, company was awarded ISO14001 Environmental Management Certification. The company won also several important awards, such as "Clean Production Enterprise" and "China National Double-Excellence Foreign-Invested Company". In particular, the company was awarded "National Quality Award" in 2002 and "State-level Business Integrity Award" in 2004. In September 2006, the company has received reconfirmation of "National Quality Award". In December 2009, the company received the "National TQM Excellent Enterprise" awarded by China Association of Quality (CAQ). In April 2013, the company won the "Model Enterprise of National Safety Culture Construction" award from State Administration of Work Safety, in the same year, the company also won the "5A Class Excellent Supplier" award from China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNPE). In 2016, our leading MV remote center "Cloud Service" program and application was selected by the Ministry of Information Industry as 2016 national "Quality Benchmark". Besides, our main products of UniGear ZS1, UniGear ZS3.2, VD4 and Vmax vacuum circuit breaker have been awarded China Type II Ecolabelling Certificate.

Our products have been extensively deployed in more than 10,000 key projects in China and worldwide, including Beijing’s Grand Hall of the People, State Grid Headquarter, new CCTV Tower, Water Cube, Shanghai Bao Steel, Beijing Capital Steel, Qin-shan Nuclear Power Plant, the Three Gorges Project, Beijing Metro, Shanghai Metro as well as Shanghai-Beijing High-Speed Railway, in addition to being applied in Iran Oil Field, Sudan Refinery and Iraq Substation, etc. Our products and services have been widely used in all over China and the world markets, covering most industries, such as utilities, petrochemical, iron& steel, real estate, infrastructure, etc.
