1.Brief Introduction
The factory has over 2,000 workers and covers an area of 380 thousand square meters, which has 1,500 main equipments.
It’s one of a key enterprise of the national engineering industry and a large state enterprise.
The only enterprise relating to oil drilling in internal combustion engine industry in China;
The only power equipment R&D and manufacturing enterprise under CNPC;
The only manufacturer which won the National Gold Prize Medal of large power engine in China;
The only enterprise which has been awarded China Well-known Trademark of off-highway engines.
The predecessor of Jichai was Huafeng Machine Factory, which was established in 1920 and was one of the earliest engine manufacturers in China and the earliest enterprise in oil industry.
In 1953, named as Jinan Diesel Engine Works.
In 1964, it was put under the control of the Ministry of Petroleum Industry, from then it began to produce oil drilling power units.
In 1965, it successfully developed 12V190B engine, which filled the gap of oil drilling power units and became the main engine for oil drilling in China
In 1982, the first high power natural gas engine in China was manufactured in our factory.
In 1996, Jinan Diesel Engine Co., Ltd was founded and listed in Shenzhen stock exchange.
2.Company introduction
Founded in 1920, locating in Jinan economic development zone of Shandong province, Jinan Diesel Engine Company is the only specialized manufacturer of internal combustion engines under China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). Now the factory has over 2,000 workers and covers an area of 380 thousand square meters, which has 1,500 main equipments. It’s one of a key enterprise of the national engineering industry and a large state enterprise. Jinan Diesel Engine Company Ltd. was founded in 1996.The main business of Jichai is R&D and manufacturing of internal-combustion engine ,compressor, hydrodynamic drive unit, gas power integration unit and engine electrical device . Selling and service business is included as well. Jichai product has been widely used in oil drilling ,marine power, power stations, locomotives, construction equipment, military etc. and equipment more than 90% domestic oil drilling teams. Besides, Jichai has supplied prime and back-up power for Party and government leading organs, navy submarine bases, spaceflight bases, mobile communication etc. Jichai product covers all domestic oil and gas fields and 32 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, export to nearly 60 countries and regions . Four advanced centers: product research and development, physical and chemical, metrological and computer centers ,equipped with advanced-device, such as SGI working station, reading-only Spectrometer, three coordinate Technical Documents measuring machine Etc, Factory is also well–equipped with advanced Heat treatment and machining workshops as well as an advanced service center. Factory was honored in sequence as the titles of National Quality Control Prize, honored with titles of First-tier State Unit in metrological control, archives Management, Advanced Unit in equipment management, National Energy Conservation Advanced Unit, National Customers Satisfactory Enterprise, National Excellent Maintenance Service Network, Certificate awarded by National Technical Supervision Bureau and National Commodity Inspection Bureau. 3.Product introduction
In 2006, Jichai successfully developed dual fuel engine for oil drilling . Use natural gas instead of diesel with great social and economy benefit, which reduces the cost and emission as well as the pollution to the environment.
Jichai has developed gas engines since 1982.
Widely used for a lot of applications, such as natural gas,biogas gas, landfill gas, coal mine gas and gasifier gas.

Ø 26/32 diesel engine can meet large ships will host/auxiliary machine, drilling platform for the auxiliary engine, work ship, industrial power station and oil conveying pump station of the power demand.
Ø 26/32 gas engine can be used for the construction of gas pipeline network, conveying pump station, underground gas storage compressor station project; Can satisfy all sorts of flammable gas power generation and so on national energy conservation and emission reduction projects on the power demand.

Ø 32/40 series engine is the German MAN company authorized to license the production of more powerful, more efficient Gas engines, from Germany's rigorous design and development and manufacturing processes, engine power, economy and reliability have reached the international advanced level.
Ø 32/40 engine with a more dynamic, better features of the economy. Advanced safety control systems to ensure long-term trouble-free operation, to achieve the International Maritime Organization (IMO) emissions from Tier II requirements.
Ø Power range:3200-6000kW
Ø Applicable gas: natural gas, methane gas, refining tail gas, blast furnace gas, etc.
