  • Raw Material Pretreatment

      In the early stage of fermentation, the mesophilic microorganisms in the compost pile use the soluble and easily degradable organic matter in the raw materials as nutrients and energy sources, multiply rapidly, and release heat energy, causing the compost pile temperature to rise continuously. In this stage, the temperature ranges from room temperature to 50°C, and the microorganisms are mainly mesophilic and aerobic, usually some non - spore - forming bacteria, including bacteria, fungi, and actinomycetes. Among them, bacteria mainly utilize water - soluble monosaccharides, etc., while actinomycetes and fungi have special functions in decomposing cellulose and hemicellulose substances.

    • High - Temperature Stage

      When the compost pile temperature rises above 50°C, it enters the high - temperature stage. The mesophilic microorganisms are inhibited, and the thermophilic microorganisms gradually replace them. In addition to the continuous decomposition and transformation of the residual and newly formed soluble organic matter in the previous stage, complex organic substances such as hemicellulose, cellulose, and protein also begin to decompose strongly. At around 50°C, mainly thermophilic fungi and actinomycetes are active; when the temperature rises to 60°C, fungi almost completely stop activities, and only thermophilic actinomycetes and bacteria are active; when the temperature rises above 70°C, most thermophilic microorganisms are no longer suitable, and a large number of microorganisms die or enter a dormant state. At this time, the heat generated decreases, and the compost pile temperature automatically drops. When the compost pile temperature drops below 70°C, the dormant thermophilic microorganisms become active again, continue to decompose the difficult - to - decompose organic matter, the heat increases again, and the compost pile temperature is in a naturally regulated and prolonged high - temperature period. Through high temperature, the pathogens in the organic waste can be effectively killed to achieve the purpose of harmless treatment.

    • Maturity Stage

      At the end of the high - temperature stage, only some difficult - to - decompose organic matter and newly formed humus remain. At this time, the microbial activity decreases, the heat generation decreases, and the temperature drops. The mesophilic microorganisms become dominant again and further decompose the remaining difficult - to - decompose organic matter. The humus continuously increases and tends to be stable. At this time, the fermentation enters the maturity stage. After the temperature drops, the oxygen demand is greatly reduced, the voids in the compost pile increase, and the oxygen diffusion ability is enhanced. At this time, only natural ventilation is required.

  • Post - treatment Stage

    The materials after fermentation need to be post - treated, including removing impurities, further crushing, etc., to obtain an organic fertilizer product with uniform and fine texture. Then, according to needs, the powdered organic fertilizer can be processed into spherical granules or columnar granules through granulation equipment, and then go through processes such as drying and dehydration by a dryer, cooling by a cooler, screening by a sieving machine, coating by a coating machine, and finally packaged by an automatic quantitative packaging machine to produce the finished organic fertilizer for shipment.
