INFORMATION NEEDED OF TRANSMISSION LINE PART and CONVERTER PART

INFORMATION NEEDED OF TRANSMISSION LINE PART

1      The coordinates of the line inflection have been supplied in the feasibility report, whether we have to perform the coordinates rigidly in our subsequent design or not?
2      What is the policy of the building and dwellings removal within the transmission line right-of-way.(Who shall bear all expenses of the building and dwellings removal? Shall the expenses be included in the project?)
3      What is the policy of the trees clearing within the transmission line right-of-way and other environmental protection requirements?
4      What is the policy of using the land (permanence use for tower base; transmission line spans the land; temporarily use for construction)?
5      Are there some areas that the transmission line must be keep away from the location along the line route.(for example, the layout city ,mine, cultural relic, historic site, military land and other, etc)
6       The layout location and line planning of the converter substation
7      In the feasibility study report, it is mentioned that the earth electrode will be constructed in another place besides the converter station, but there is no information about the design of the earth electrode, such as selection of the earth electrode’s location, design of the earth electrode line appear in report. Shall we need to design the earth electrode and the overhead line anew?
8       Grid voltage series and configuration planning of the area.
9       Contamination distribution condition of the area.
10     1:200000 and 1:50000 map about the line area.
11    The Country A’s requirements of important across, such as across important electric line, communication line, railway, trafficway, river, reservoir, etc.

INFORMATION NEEDED OF CONVERTER PART

1.      If Country A exists HVDC project in operation or in construction? If exists, please supply relevant design data.
2.      Whether Country A has the compulsory code for design or not? If has, please supply.
3.      Who is in charge of location selection and land expropriating for converter station and earth electrode?
4.      Please provide meteorological data of converter station and earth electrode (including maximum and minimum atmospheric temperature, air pressure, relative humidity, wind direction, speed of wind, amount of precipitation, depth of accumulated snow, solar radiation ratio, thunderstorm day number, the design ice thickness, etc. )
5.      What is the contamination condition in converter station site (such as natural contamination level)?
6.      Please provide the altitude, soil resistivity, seismic intensity (i.e. a degree of destruction caused by an earthquake to ground and buildings) or the peak ground acceleration (PGA) around converter station and earth electrode area.
7.      What is transport condition for bulky equipment to converter station including mode of transport, distance and the limit to the maximum size and weight of the equipment?
8.      Who is in charge of connecting system design of converter station (including primary system and secondary system)?
9.      Whether the system study is within the scope of design? Who is in charge of providing AC system data used for packaged design (such as converter station outgoing line scale, line parameter length, range of voltage change, range of frequency change, negative sequence power frequency voltage, background harmonic voltage, converter bus short circuit level, equivalent AC system, etc.)?
10.    Who is in charge of accomplishing functional specification for DC system?
11.    Is converter station service power provided by the owner? Shall we need to set diesel generator?
12.    Which way should be used in the communication of 400 kV line protection? Fiber or carrier. What about the relay Configuration of Contralateral station. Are there some requirements about that?
13.    Which department will manage the station?
14.    The configuration of remote system? The requirements of remote information? The case of remote scheduling? The mode of communication uploads?
15.    Are there some requirements about the data network access and network security?
16.    Which one is the voltage level of DC system? DC 110V or DC 220V? Are there some requirements about the battery selection?
17.    Clear weather conditions, wind loads, earthquake to determine whether part by line project.
18.    The collections draws up to set up the substation 1/2000 or 1/1000 geography diagram in address district
19.    The collections draws up to set up to stand address district the tallest flood in 50 years and tallest inland inundation water level(or the history is the tallest inland inundation water level) circumstance
20.    Architectural pattern and level in local site, decorating standards of buildings in the converter station and etc. (including building structural style and architectural material of the external wall and internal wall)
21.    The subsoil investigation report, hydrological and meteorological data.
22.    The type of materials (such as steel bar, cement, sand, brick, crushed stone, steel ,bolt etc) used in local building.
23.    The material and structure type for gantries and supporting posts for equipments in local converter station (steel pipes or Lattice angle steel), structure type of road.
24.    The method of subsoil treatment normally used in the local. (for example: cast-in-situ bored pile , precast concrete pile, cement mixing pile)
25.    The information about Water supply near the HVDC convertor stations. Water supply is provided by the owner? If there is no water supply, is it possible to have deep wells in the stations supplying water.
26.    The information about general drainage of the HVDC convertor stations, For example, municipal drainage piping or river/lake ,nature drainage trench and so on. Include the route of drainage piping.
27.    Demand of the local fire department for firefighting of transformer and buildings.
