Overcoming dificulties in foreign business

 

I am thinking of how to overcome the difficulties for doing business by Chinese with India.

 

It is true that most of the Chinese manufacturers are afraid of tendering documentation and risks outside China, and most of the projects or supply are contracted by famous EPC contractors who have the experience, financing, and policy support to do foreign business. This is why so many manufactures are still following famous EPCs.

 

For EPCs and manufatures, everyday, they received too many enquiries, and they are flooded by them. and if they potential buyers have not connection with EPC or manufactures or reference in this business with them or proving the Chinese it is serious and of high possibility to win, no EPC or manufacturer will quote seriously (maybe some small Chinese companies will be aggressive to inquiries, but the buyers finally discovered that the communication was only a waste of time).

 

I personally have experience in the machinery/Electric heavy equipment field, and I graduated from No:. one university of M/E in China under the Ministry of M/E industry, which is now our group company: Sinomach. When Sinomach was the Ministry , all the reputable manufactures, EPCs, designing units, and university were under its governs and I have too many classmates, friends, and partners in this industry.  So it is very important in China that you have connection with them. I have.

 

Trust and confidence is the first step in China to do business, and social personal connection is the shortcut for establishing trust and confidence. Another important factor for forging trust and confidence is the presence in China as a committed and professional company. This is why I suggested your company to setup a full or semi full fledged company. With these trust, confidence, experience and wisdom, then you and I will expect great business by contracting or supplying Chinese heavy equipments to your nation.

 

We can work in the field of machinery/electric, electronic/IT, or even military equipments from China. As an example, CNAICO, for which I am advisor to its CEO Mr. Liu, has signed exclusive agreement with your small Indian company, I think trust and confidence, commitment to each other are the most important factors for their successful business.  I have talked your strength in India and tried to persuade CNAICO’s CEO to work with you, but he still did not want to decline the Indian agent. Now I am formulating a new way to let your company to work with your company in Indian market. CNAICO is a newly corporated company under Sinomach, and has now reference in power equipments before they worked with Indian agent. But they have profound and wide personal connection with most reputable manufacturers in steam turbine, boiler, gas turbine, generator and other heavy equipments. And CNAICO can get full support from the No:.1 steam turbine generator producer in China, the only GE gas turbine generator producer in China. This is another reason why the small Indian agent can get business in India.

 

Due to my wide and intimate personal connection with Mr. Liu, and other top mangers in CNAICO, they have been helping me for equipments and supports from these two famous manufacturers. Though CNAICO can not work with you due to its relation with your small Indian agent, I can let CNAICO to coordinate the supports from famous producers to my company, Chinacables, and then let Chinacables or other third EPC to work with you.
