1.What capacity of DG power plant is available from Chinese company.Main demand is for 3 MW ,6MW and 10 /12 MW .there may be some requirement of even one MW set.

 

For 3MW power plant, you can choose 3x1MW or 2x1.5MW;

For 6MW power plant, you can choose 4x1.5MW or 3x2MW;

For 10MW/12MW power plant, you can choose 5x2MW/6x2MW.

Our main unit capacity for HFO generator sets are: 1mw, 1.5mw, 2mw.

 

2.What is the delivery time .ideal wd be if we can deliver the plant and erect the same within 4/6 months maximum.earlier is better.

 

For 3MW, delivery time (FOB China port) is about 3 months;

For 6MW, delivery time (FOB China port) is about 4 months;

For 10MW/12MW, delivery time (FOB China port) is about 5 months.

 

3.What fuel is specified and with what efficiency.? for example ,Sulzer and Waltsila are offering 5 unit per liter.

 

Fuel can be 180cSt/50C or 380cSt/50C;

Fuel consumption for 1MW generator is about 220g/kWh;

Fuel consumption for 2MW generaotr is about 215g/kWh.

 

4.have these DG plants been supplied outside China and are running efficiently? How many such plants are commissioned by the Chinese company.Sulzer is talking about 2000 such plants have been commissioned by them world over.

 

More than 300 HFO power plants outside China, such as in Africa, Amercia, Europe, South Asia and other places.

 

5.How sound is the technology?

Our operation in these 300 HFO plant has proven that high performance and availability, lower cost of M&O is achieved.

 

6,What is the guarantee ? what is the rated life time of these machines?

Provide full warranty within one year from the date of delivery or 2000 operating hours, whichever comes first. Design life for generator is 25 years, overhaul period is 25000 hours.

 

7.Cost wise what is the average range per 1 MW ? or for 10 MW its less than a 3 MW or a 1 MW plant?

You are suggested to fill in the form attached for each project so that we can quote you. But actually to our experience FOB China port quotation is about 400-450USD/KW, which is almost half the price Suzler and MAN offered.(attached also our quotation for MAN produced in China)

 

8.will the Chinese company take the turnkey commissioning responsibility? or they want us to find out a erection and commissioning agent for them?Preferably I wd like them to do and may be at a later stage we can find a local good partner to service these plants.

Installation, commissioning, O&M from us can be discussed.

 

9.How soon Mr.Lin can visit us to demonstrate this and finalise a MOU for exclusive arrangement.

At the first stage, we can discuss agreement after one project finalized.

 

10.what is their payment terms?

30% as advance payment, and balance by T/T of L/C, details to be negotiated.

 

11.Would they be interested in working on BOOT basis ?

No.

 

12.Wd they be able to bring fund also for these? what is the interest rate for such power plants?

No, the financing demand is too small for us, we only offer financing for projects over 100 million USD against sovereign guarantee.
