4x10500kw+16x11520kw Used Sulzer 16ZAV40S diesel generator Power Plant of 226MW
1. Diesel Generator Units Introduction
The Diesel Power Plant has twenty (20) Sulzer 16ZAV40S diesel generator units (4×10500kw, 16×11520kw) with a total installed capacity 226MW. The technical innovation on the diesel generators in respect of heat recovery was successfully completed on Sep. 2004. As a result, twenty (20) new HRSGs and four (4) steam turbines (3000kW) were installed that the total installed capacity has been increased 12MW. The system configuration is that the steam supply for two (2) steam turbines comes from a confluent common steam range which is combined by two steam ranges, the two steam ranges are connected with 1# to 4# boilers and 5# to 10# boilers separately; the steam supply for another two (2) steam turbines comes from a common steam range which is connected with 11# to 20# boilers directly.
It has been more than ten (10) years, since the COD of twenty (20) Sulzer 16ZAV40S generator units, moreover, the operation hour of each unit is about 30000 ~ 36000 hours.
