There are two kinds of impulse steam turbine produced in HCTC which are used for power plant and industrial driven. The turbines used for the building materials industry, metallurgy industry, sugar factory, biomass industry, cogeneration industry, petrochemical industry, coal chemical industry, light industry, pharmaceuticals industry, ship industry and so on. HCTC have five series more than 400 type steam turbines including N series, NR series, C/BN series, B series, CB series.

NR series steam turbines are single casing & single shaft or double casing &single shaft condensing steam turbine which with reheating system. The inlet parameter from 4.0MPa/ saturated to 13.24MPa/550 C , outputs are 6MW , 9MW , 12MW , 15MW , 20MW , 25MW , 35MW , 50MW , 65MW , 85MW with 10 modes and 30 series totally. The rotation speed of turbine is 3000 rpm and turbine connects with generator directly.

The rotation speed of turbine depending on the design requirements, from 3000rpm to 10000rpm differently. Most of them directly connect to the generators and some others connect to generators by reduction gear box.

3600rpm, 60Hz direct connecting type STG sets avoided undesired factors resulted by decelerating box, and also reduced space requirement and investment cost.
Axial Exhaust Type STG
The condenser of axial exhaust type STG set locates at the rear of turbine, which simplified the turbine island structure and reduced height and investment requirements.
Vertically Arranged STG
The vertically arranged STG sets occupy less horizontal space and are capable to fit for energy conservation.
